Coming Back Tomorrow
Hi Mrs. Driscoll,
I am so happy that your coming back tomorrow. Mr. A was very nice to us.
How was your day, was it great, okay, or bad I hope it was great. But have a good sleep because your coming back from Boston, where my Aunts live. It's a four hour trip back. Didn't time go by so fast Saturday and Sunday?
Love, Clifton

I'm home!
Hello everyone!
We made it back to New Jersey last night. It was an amazing experience and I feel so fortunate that I was able to go. This was the 20th year the People of Color Conference ( POCC) was held and it was the 14th year for the Student Diversity Leadership Conference ( SDLC) This year was the largest conference every held, with roughly 4,000 people!
After listening to various keynote speakers, like Frank Wu, Tarun Tejpal ( who taught us that if we have love and laughter in our lives we can do anything we want!), Marcus Mabry, Maria Hinojosa, and Wilma Mankiller ( the first female elected deputy chief of the Cherokee Nation) I have learned about many different cultures. Each of these speakers had to overcome many obstacles in their lives in order to get to where they are today.
In closing, always remember that we need to treat others like we want to be treated. We are all the same people with good hearts. All of you can become ANYTHING you want to become. So dream big and reach for the stars!
Love,
Mrs. Driscoll

Good Luck Jack!
Hi Jack,
I hope you got a good night sleep! I can't wait to hear about your big race. Remember, it doesn't matter if you win or lose, it matters that you gave it your all and you had a good time! You should be EXTREMELY proud of yourself for qualifying for the JUNIOR OLYMPICS! Good luck and keep me updated!

Hi Clifton!
Hi Clifton,
I can't wait to read the rest of your football story. Did you get a chance to add some dialogue? Who is coming to visit your house? I can't wait to see you on Monday. Have a great weekend!
